Job Overview

Job Description:

  • Provide clear direction and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Coach, mentor, and evaluate team performance.
  • Track and improve processes using Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Monitor KPIs (downtime, maintenance cost, reliability).
  • Lead or participate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and HAZOP studies.
  • Support identification and management of Safety Critical Elements (SCEs).
  • Manage CAPEX projects (budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation).

Job Requirement:

  • Education: degree in a relevant field (e.g., manufacturing, chemical engineering).
  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience in the polysilicon/chemical plant
  • General & special understanding of chemical plant equipment and process.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and technical skills.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and overtime if required.
  • Strong safety awareness.
  • Holding a valid Technologist Title under the Malaysian Board of Technologists is an added advantage.
