What's in Store
We are on the lookout for an Accounting Coordinator who will provide accounting support in the claims/accounting operations team. Responsibilities include managing daily check and bank-account functions, reconciling client accounts, supporting Excel-based and system-based tracking, assisting with monthly closing tasks for assigned customer accounts, and performing other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage billing transactions for clients.
  • Reconcile billing discrepancies and ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to track and resolve outstanding billing issues.
  • Apply cash payments where required within billing system. 
  • Maintain organized records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Set up and maintain Excel spreadsheets or use accounting software to track accounting metrics, generate daily/weekly/monthly reports as required. 
  • Assist with special projects or other accounting/clerical duties as assigned
This is a full-time, remote position. 

Skills, knowledge & expertise

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance preferred
  • 2-4 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (AP/AR, bank reconciliations, vendor/customer transactions)
  • Comfortable working in a structured, process-oriented environment with client-specific procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy mindset
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong computer and general office skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational, documentation, time-management, multi-tasking ability in a fast-paced environment
