Responsibilities
• You assist in adherence to industry best practices, standards, and methodologies, contributing to a culture of quality excellence throughout the organization.
• You develop comprehensive test plans and strategies, leveraging your deep understanding of the business and technical requirements. You collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define testing objectives, scope, and success criteria.
• You contribute to the execution and management of test activities, including test design, test case development, and test execution. You employ a range of testing techniques to identify defects, track issues, and ensure timely resolution.
• You contribute to the implementation and evolution of test automation frameworks and tools.
You identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, streamline test processes, and improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• You design and execute performance and security tests, ensuring that our software systems can handle high loads and are secure against potential threats. You analyse test results, identify bottlenecks, and make recommendations for optimization.
• You take part in the defect management process, including defect identification, logging, tracking, and reporting. You collaborate closely with development teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of defects.
• You continuously evaluate and improve quality assurance processes, methodologies, and tools.
You identify areas for enhancement and contribute to initiatives to optimize testing practices, resulting in increased efficiency and higher product quality.
• You effectively communicate quality-related information to stakeholders, including project status, risks, and recommendations. You collaborate closely with project managers, product owners, and development teams to ensure clear alignment and understanding.
• You embrace the power of AI, working with modern AI testing tools and building AI agents that become valuable members of our AI workforce, accelerating productivity and innovation across the business.
Skills and Qualifications
• You have a proven track record as a quality analyst, with deep expertise in quality assurance methodologies and practices.
• Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills enable you to design and execute comprehensive test strategies and identify areas of improvement.
• You are proficient in using industry-standard quality assurance tools and test management systems.
• Your expertise extends to test automation frameworks and tools, allowing you to develop efficient and reliable automated testing processes.
• You have an understanding of performance and security testing principles, and hands-on experience in conducting such tests.
• Strong defect management and tracking skills enable you to effectively identify, document, and communicate issues to facilitate their resolution.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills allow you to engage with stakeholders at all levels, effectively conveying quality-related information and building strong partnerships.
• Desirable skills: AWS Lambda, Relational and document database knowledge, and an
understanding of good security practices
