About the Role:  

In this role you will act as a Key Account Manager and become a member of the strong Danish sales team in Copenhagen Ø. In this very interesting and challenging role you get to work closely with Enterprise and Emerging customers (existing and prospects), and hence play an instrumental role in driving our continued growth agenda.   

Today we have a strong footprint within the banking, finance & insurance and utilities sectors, as well as in other verticals that have a high level of digital maturity. The Public Sector in Denmark is also a prioritized marked going in 2026 with our resent win of the EUID Wallet.  

With an annual growth of 40% in the last years, and a continued focus on European expansion, earning the trust from new customers in the Danish market is a key part of our company’s growth strategy.   

What you will do: 

  • Generate new revenue by acquiring new enterprise customers in the Danish market
  • Meet and engage with existing customers to deeply understand their needs across the full digital identity lifecycle and align these with our value propositions
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing clients and partners
  • Identify key strategic and emerging Danish customers across the Nordics and beyond - particularly those operating in multiple markets where our offering (KYC, KYB, AML checks, onboarding flows) has strong value
  • Define and execute go-to-market plans with current clients and partners to drive additional revenue
  • Execute GTM activities such as email campaigns, training sessions, webinars, and events to support lead generation
  • Work closely with the Country Manager and the Danish/Nordic team to establish and execute winning strategies, from first contact to contract signature
  • Regularly review performance against key metrics and share updates with stakeholders, using Salesforce as the primary business tool for managing activities
  • Collaborate with the wider Signicat Sales and Marketing teams to grow brand awareness and strengthen our market presence

Desirable key experiences and competencies: 

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience within SaaS or payment solutions
  • Proven track record in both new customer acquisition and customer development (retention, up-sell, cross-sell) at C-level
  • Experience within the financial industry (e.g., payment solutions, insurance, credit financing)
  • Experience in addressing or managing KYC, KYB, and AML challenges
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or another relevant field
  • Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken
  • Strong overall understanding of technology and digitalisation
  • Proficiency in MEDDPICC or similar structured sales methodologies
