Head of Technology

• Act as Product Manager for Technology, gathering requirements from internal departments and translating them into scalable tech solutions.
• Manage product timelines and agile sprints, ensuring timely delivery and measurable impact.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the engineering team; conduct code reviews and pair programming as needed.
• Maintain high software engineering standards and documentation practices.
• Identify and solve pain points across departments by building practical, user-focused tools.
• Ensure systems are designed with scalability and maintainability in mind, without over-engineering.
• Coordinate closely with the CEO, remaining calm under pressure and focused on solutions.
• Be a relationship-builder, not just a code wizard — foster collaboration and clarity across teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, or Head of Tech.
• Strong background in agile product development and sprint cycles.
• Experience managing or mentoring engineers.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, especially in internal product roles.
• Data-driven mindset with strong documentation habits.
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments.

Preferred / Good to Have:

• Familiar with the following tech stack:
• Backend: Golang
• Frontend: React, Next.js, React Native
• Mobile: Expo
• Database: PostgreSQL
• Cloud: Google Cloud Platform
• Understanding of ERP systems and/or construction industry workflows.
• 1–3 years of experience in property or construction tech is a plus.
