Dishwasher Part - Time (Design District)

About the role

• The Dishwasher role is a support position for the Café BOH Team. They are responsible for upholding the highest standard of service while ensuring dishes are clean and sanitized. 

What you'll do

• · Utilize a 3-compartment sink as well as pass through dishwashing machine
  · Engaging with fellow team members and any guests you come in contact with in a pleasant and       professional manner
  · Maintaining cleanliness of your working area
  · Ensure appropriate chemicals are installed and available for use
  · Transports trash/refuse to appropriate bins both inside and outside of building
  · Handles café wares with care
  · Notify manager immediately of any present equipment or supply issues
  · Adhere to maintenance guidelines to ensure proper draining of floor drains near dishwashing area
  · Clean dishes, utensils and cookware following all washing and sanitization guidelines
  · Coachable: receives and implements feedback quickly

Qualifications

• · Reliable transportation.
  · Able to work nights and weekends, Wednesday - Sunday.
  · Strong team skills, clear communication.
  · Great organizational skills, problem solving ability, and intuitive resourcefulness.
  · High initiative and self-management skills, willing to take direction.
  · Ability to stand for extended periods of time, ~8 hours each workday.
