The Digital
Marketer will be responsible for executing social media marketing campaigns, generating
leads, conducting web analytics, and implementing digital marketing strategies. The role
will require working in our office located in Yaba, Lagos State, Nigeria. HE/SHE MUST
BE SOMEONE WITH AN UNCONVENTIONAL MINDSET.
1. Digital Strategy Development:
• Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing plans aligned with company
goals, focusing on both short-term and long-term growth.
• Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify
opportunities for market penetration and expansion.
• Conduct SWOT analysis to inform strategy adjustments and maintain competitive
advantage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of digital marketing
strategies with overall business objectives.
2. Online Advertising:
• Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across various platforms,
including Google Ads, social media ads (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter),
and display networks to maximize ROI.
• Monitor ad performance through detailed analytics, adjust budgets, and refine
targeting to ensure optimal results.
• Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives and landing pages to continually improve
conversion rates and reduce cost per acquisition (CPA).
3. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & App Search Optimization (ASO):
• Implement and oversee advanced SEO strategies to improve organic search
rankings and drive qualified traffic to the website.
• Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and SEO audits to
identify areas for improvement.
• Execute on-page optimization, including meta tags, URL structure, content
optimization, and internal linking.
• Develop and implement off-page SEO strategies such as link building, guest
blogging, and social bookmarking.
• Optimize mobile app listings on app stores (Apple App Store, Google Play) to
enhance visibility and downloads.
• Conduct keyword research for app store optimization, update app descriptions,
and effectively utilize visual assets such as screenshots and videos.
4. Content Marketing:
• Develop engaging and relevant content for various digital channels, including the
company website, blog, and social media platforms.
• Collaborate with the content team to ensure consistent brand messaging across
all platforms.
• Create visually appealing content that aligns with 1Techlink's brand for social
media platforms, including infographics, videos, and interactive posts.
• Design email newsletters, digital ads, and other marketing collateral to drive sales
and enhance user experience.
• Stay updated on design trends and continuously innovate to keep our visual
presence fresh and engaging.
5. Social Media Management:
• Manage and grow the company's social media presence across platforms such as
Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
• Create and schedule posts, run social media campaigns, and engage with the
online community to build brand loyalty and drive engagement.
• Monitor social media performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve reach
and engagement.
• Implement influencer marketing and partnership strategies to expand reach and
credibility.
6. Email Marketing:
• Plan and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, drive sales, and
increase customer retention.
• Segment email audiences based on customer data and behavior to deliver
personalized content.
• Implement A/B testing for subject lines, email content, and calls-to-action to
optimize campaign performance.
• Monitor email performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, and
conversion rates, to continuously improve email marketing efforts.
7. Google Map Marketing:
• Optimize Google My Business listings to enhance local search visibility and drive
foot traffic to physical locations.
• Ensure that business information is accurate and up-to-date, including hours of
operation, contact details, and services offered.
Monitor and respond to customer reviews and ratings to maintain a positive online
reputation.
• Utilize Google Posts to share updates, promotions, and events with local
audiences.
8. SMS/Messenger Marketing:
• Develop and implement SMS and messenger marketing campaigns to reach
customers directly with personalized messages.
• Craft compelling SMS and messenger content that encourages engagement and
conversion.
• Segment contact lists to send targeted messages based on customer behavior and
preferences.
• Monitor campaign performance metrics such as delivery rates, open rates, and
conversion rates, and adjust strategies to improve effectiveness.
9. Analytics and Reporting:
• Utilize advanced analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, etc.) to track,
measure, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) across all digital
marketing channels.
• Provide insights and actionable recommendations based on data analysis to
optimize marketing strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
• Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly reports to present to senior management,
highlighting performance, insights, and strategic recommendations.
