Telesales Representative
Job Overview
We are currently identifying potential candidates for an upcoming opportunity within our organization. This role requires individuals with exceptional spoken English, strong communication skills, and a natural ability to engage customers professionally over the phone.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound and inbound telesales calls to prospective and existing customers.
- Present products and services using clear, compelling, and globally understandable English.
- Maintain excellent telephone etiquette and uphold a professional tone on all calls.
- Apply non-aggressive persuasive skills to influence buying decisions.
- Accurately document customer interactions and update CRM systems.
- Handle basic customer service requests via phone with courtesy and clarity.
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales targets.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and uphold company values.
Requirements
- Strong command of spoken English (Global Standard / Broadcasting Quality).
- Excellent telephone etiquette and professional communication style.
- Non-aggressive but effective persuasion skills.
- Ability to work remotely with strong self-management and reliability.
Additional Requirements
- Previous experience in Telemarketing or Telesales.
- Prior experience in phone-based customer service.
- Confidence, clarity, and warmth in speaking.
- Must be based in Lagos.
Accent Assessment Exercise
As part of our evaluation process, shortlisted candidates are required to submit a short video (less than 1 minute) demonstrating vocal clarity and natural expression.
