Backend Engineer (PL/pgSQL focus)

About The Role:
As a Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining technical solutions that support our core payment and processing systems. The role has a strong focus on PL/pgSQL. You will also work on building scalable, reliable services while ensuring smooth integration with other teams and systems.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
- Development of technical solutions.
- Interacting with developers from other teams on integration tasks.
- Stack: PostgreSQL with PL/pgSQL codebase; aux services in Java/Kotlin and C#; RabbitMQ; Docker.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful In This Role:
- Profound knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle or PostgreSQL).
- Experience with PL/pgSQL - 2+ years.
- Experience with C# or Java/Kotlin - 2+ years.
- Ability to write unit and integration tests
- Understanding what CI/CD is, worked with some of the CI/CD systems.
- Experience in payment and/or processing projects.
