A quick look at the role
The Mobilisation Manager leads the transition from contract award to full operational delivery. You’ll coordinate plans, resources, risks, and stakeholders to ensure mobilisation and demobilisation programmes land on time and to standard. The role is all about clarity, pace, and collaboration — building strong relationships, motivating teams, and steering activity in fast-moving environments. With confident leadership and problem-solving skills, you’ll align partners, embed quality processes, and keep delivery on track to set the foundation for long-term success.
Your core responsibilities
- Drive mobilisation plans — set clear timelines, milestones, and priorities, balancing resources and managing risks across teams and partners.
- Own stakeholder relationships — work confidently with clients and internal teams to align goals, meet contractual obligations, and uphold SLAs/KPIs.
- Lead and inspire — set standards, motivate the team, and ensure regular coaching, 1:1s, and development support.
- Communicate with clarity — deliver crisp requirements and updates, produce concise reports, and escalate issues when needed.
- Optimise operations — design efficient mobilisation workflows, use systems effectively, and maintain quality from launch to steady state.
- Solve problems fast — adapt plans when challenges arise, analyse root causes, and make sound decisions under pressure.
