This is an exciting role!

You’ll be our front line—the talented people who train our talented clients.

Our trainers and coaches:

• Lead our front-of-the-room training, both in person and virtual, providing dynamic and insightful learning experiences.
• Coach individuals and small groups, applying our concepts in real-life situations.
• Guide our client leaders to reinforce and integrate our trainings into their leadership.

You’ll be a vital interface between our systems, science, and steps and our client’s training experience, coaching application, and integration.

Because of this, we are particularly interested in candidates with specific experience working in or with professional services, including the legal, consulting, and/or insurance industries.

What will you learn in this role?

In short, a lot!

We only work with seasoned facilitators and coaches. People that are already great.

Our GrowBIG® Certification process will take your facilitation and coaching to the next level.

You’ll learn a lot through our Certification process:

• You’ll go through our entire GrowBIG® Training as a participant—this will teach you how to grow your own book of business and let you experience what our clients experience as participants.
• You’ll go through full Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument® (HBDI®) Certification—this will teach you how the brain works and how you can use this knowledge to help others succeed in everything they do.
• You’ll go through our GrowBIG® Training Facilitation Certification—this will take your facilitation game to the next level and give you what you need to successfully train and coach our clients.

Who will you work with?

You’ll work with our internal team and our clients.

We have a crack internal team that takes care of logistical details for you. They’ll take care of everything from tracking participant details to shipping materials. We create a “winning team mentality” across our team, celebrating our incremental progress, not just the big wins. (There are plenty of both!)

You’ll work with our internal team to prepare for meetings, get ready for and debrief training sessions, and deliver exceptional training and coaching experiences.

Our external clients are a joy to work with, too. We’re usually a bright spot in their day—we’re the people helping their people succeed. We’re the team helping their teams demystify business development and unlock learnings and results, so we are the fun outside experts for them to talk to.

You’ll work with our external clients to lead strategy sessions, learn their unique nuances, and even collaborate with leadership in the training sessions themselves to deliver the best result for their participants.

Where will you work?

We all work remotely, so you can work wherever you want. And since this role is on a contracting basis, we won’t have any requirements other than when you’re working with us to serve one of our clients.

This role has a tremendous amount of autonomy. All you’ll need is a professional video set up when you’re working with us virtually and the ability to travel to our clients.

When is this? And does it cost anything?

The dates you'll need to set aside are in the application itself. You'll need to make all of them to be a part of this certification class.

And from a cost perspective? Our clients pay around $34,000 for someone to get certified to teach GrowBIG® training internally. Here, we'll be investing that in you to successfully add you to our amazing team.

Requirements

To be a successful GrowBIG® Facilitator & Coach, you must have:

The Ability to Entertain a Group

Ability to entertain so we can create memorable and enjoyable classroom experiences where people feel welcome, warm, and intuitively sense a fun learning atmosphere.

The Ability to Absorb and Communicate Complex Information in Simple Ways

Ability to learn complex ideas quickly and to apply those learnings accurately. Listen well and learn quickly. Possess the ability to ask great questions to learn more and go deeper. Confident in their intelligence without being arrogant or egotistical. Ability to learn, retain, and explain many behavioral science studies easily. Ability to learn and use the various language and lingos of our client’s industries. Exhibit a probing mind.

The Ability to be Flexible and Proactive

Ability to instinctively act on next steps with prospects and clients. Intuitive and flexible in working with our clients in virtual and at in-person events to adapt to participant's needs. Proactively reach out to clients for planning and debrief calls. Respond quickly to phone calls and emails. Focus on key priorities without having to be nudged. Follow through on client commitments.
