  • Be responsible for building and scaling the organization, driving operational excellence, and acting as a key liaison between the India office and Caxton's global teams.
  • Champion a collaborative, high-performance culture aligned with Caxton culture and global values.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior technologist with strong leadership skills to build and shape a new strategic hub within a world-class investment firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support audits, risk assessments, and internal reviews.

  • Build a High-Performance Organization – Attract, hire and retain top talent across operations, finance, compliance, legal, software development, quantitative research and risk analytics.
  • Develop organisational structures and succession plans to scale the centre. The role includes “recruiting and building a high‑performing local team” and fostering a positive work culture.
  • Compliance with Indian Labour Laws – Ensure full compliance with local labor regulations, including those related to wages, provident fund, ESI, and workplace safety. Maintain robust HR policies and documentation to support audits and inspections.
  • Global Partnership – Serve as the primary point of contact between the India office and global leadership. Provide regular updates on operational performance, talent, and delivery milestones.
  • Lead initiatives that strengthen engagement, retention, and cross-office collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A strong academic track record is expected.
  • 15+ years of professional experience in technology roles, including at least 8 years in a senior leadership capacity within financial services, investment management, or banking.
  • Experience leading large-scale operations and technical teams is essential.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure (Windows/Linux), networks, and cloud environments.
  • Extensive experience with software and database development (C#, Python, SQL, relational databases).
