Financial Accounting Specialist

As a Financial Accounting Specialist, your expertise will help deliver outcomes that matter – supporting investment cases, enabling commercial decisions, and ensuring financial integrity. You’ll report to the Head of Risk & Assurance and work closely with Leads and cross-functional teams, contributing to everything from technical accounting and compliance to external audit coordination and strategic input for Board reporting. Your day-to-day will include maintaining the Financial Accounting Framework, preparing reconciliations and financial statements, advising on contractual implications, and supporting people development within the team. You’ll be empowered to specialise, evolve methodologies, and grow your capability, all while helping Contact deliver on its vision for a sustainable energy future.
