Trading Platform Administrator

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee and enhance server environments to maintain optimal performance, reliability, and security.
• Manage platform settings, including user permissions, security configurations, and data backup processes.
• Use monitoring tools like Zabbix or similar to track system performance and promptly resolve issues to reduce downtime.
• Implement routine updates, patches, and system improvements to ensure security and operational efficiency.
• Handle the configuration and administration of platform plugins, extensions, and third-party application integrations.
• Manage and improve connectivity protocols such as FIX API for smooth integration with external systems.
• Support failover operations and disaster recovery drills to guarantee ongoing business operations.
• Work closely with teams like trading, risk management, and operations to introduce platform enhancements, enforce risk controls, and uphold compliance standards.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting and automation technologies.
• Deliver technical assistance and advice to users and stakeholders when required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluent English skills at C1 level, with strong written and verbal communication.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline, or comparable practical experience.
• Over five years of experience in platform administration, system management, or related positions; experience with trading platforms (MT4/MT5) is beneficial.
• In-depth knowledge of server administration, networking, and system security.
• Practical experience with monitoring tools and performance optimization.
• Skilled in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or equivalents, and familiar with automation tools.
• Experience managing APIs, plugins, or integrations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and calmness under pressure.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
