We are seeking a passionate, hands-on and experienced DE&I Manager to join our team and lead initiatives that promote a culture of inclusivity and progress, bringing our strategic goals to life and integrating DE&I principles into all aspects of our business. 

The DE&I Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and execute DE&I initiatives that drive meaningful, actionable and measurable progress. You will lead projects from inception through to delivery across the globe, while measuring and tracking the impact of your efforts.

This exciting opportunity is for a passionate DE&I professional to make a significant impact in a global organization. This role will report to and work closely with DEPT®’s Global Head of Impact & Inclusion and work closely with our People teams. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Execute our DE&I and well-being strategy that is aligned with our company culture and business objectives. Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend actionable solutions. 
  • Oversee, support and empower our Employee Resource Group’s and executive sponsors to drive meaningful programs and content, fostering a sense of belonging and community across the team.  
  • Partner closely with the People & Culture, Housing/Office Management, Marketing and regional teams to embed DE&I into all stages of the employee lifecycle – including events, tools, resources, processes and ways of working. 
  • Lead and manage DE&I projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines. Develop and execute project plans, set objectives, and monitor progress to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Recognise and respond to DE&I needs by providing tailored solutions to enable appropriate cultural awareness and change.
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert on DE&I topics, with a focus on invisible as well as visible diversity. 
  • Organize events, awareness sessions, trainings, internal communications and other activities that celebrate diversity and educate employees and key stakeholders on DE&I topics.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, leadership, and partners.
  • Analyse key on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion indicators and provide succinct reporting on the results and effectiveness of initiatives based on the data

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 3+ years of experience in DE&I, People & Culture, Social Impact, or broadly working on  organization change or transformation 
  • Lived or professional subject matter expertise in DE&I principles, issues, trends and best practices and understands the nuances of DE&I between various countries/markets 
  • Ability to translate DE&I expertise into practical action, with a bias for innovation and agility
  • Proven track record of implementing successful DE&I, People & Culture or organizational change change initiatives that have driven meaningful change, preferably in a similar industry or organization to DEPT®
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – kind, empathic, thoughtful as well as clear and direct communicator (in English)
  • Skillful collaborator, with experience working with diverse teams and building strong relationships
  • Passion for working across cultures and incorporating nuances and sensitives across cultures into your day-to-day work 
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced and complex environment with the ability to deal with ambiguity and changing circumstances

The anticipated salary range for this position is listed below. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, physical location, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we’re flexible.

US Remote Range
$73,900$93,500 USD
