Coordinator, Premium Sales

Job Overview

The Coordinator, Premium Sales will be responsible for managing custom proposals and pitch decks for the Premium Sales & Service department. This position will collaborate across key verticals, including Sales & Service, while also supporting the Ticketing department with projects.  This position plays a vital part in developing high-quality creative assets to drive revenue growth and enhance client retention.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Coordinator, Premium Sales position will have daily responsibilities including, without limitation, the following:

  • Collaborate with the Suite, Premium and Ticketing teams to design and deliver creative materials that align with revenue and retention goals
  • Develop custom pitch decks and proposals tailored to individual client needs, ensuring a personalized and high impact approach
  • Capture video and photo content during Lions games, Ford Field events, and Suite and Premium holder events to enhance marketing materials for proposals and end-of-year recaps
  • Develop internal resources, such as dashboards and presentations to assist management in tracking process of ongoing projects
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and client preferences, to improve creative output and proposal effectiveness
  • Maintain flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Serve as liaison with the marketing team to ensure all materials align with brand standards and uphold the organization's integrity
  • Develop and refine innovative tools, strategies and workflows that streamline creative processes and enhance team efficiency

 NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and development opportunities to continuously improve performance
  • Engage in strategic planning sessions, contributing ideas for new business development initiatives.
  • Assist in the execution of non-game day sales events, client meetings, and premium showcase opportunities (e.g., open houses, training camp, draft day events)
  • Handle additional responsibilities as assigned to support business objectives and team success
  • Participate in team meetings, provide agenda items to discuss, and provide meeting communication updates to all parties involved
  • Adjust work schedule to meet departmental demands
  • Keep appropriate information confidential
  • Will accept other responsibilities and duties required by the supervisor consistent with the objectives and essential functions of this position
  • Will maintain an appropriate level of knowledge of Microsoft Office and other software

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of proven experience in creation of presentations, proposals and pitch decks required
  • Experience working with a professional sports team in a high volume and large investment product environment preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, planning, project and time management and administrative ability
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to manage a demanding schedule and competing deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across all departments including management, clients, and vendors
  • Proficiency in creative tools and platforms such as Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, Canva etc.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new programs
  • A proactive approach with a willingness to adapt to evolving priorities and explore innovative solutions
  • Flexibility and readiness to work on demand in a high-energy environment

  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of external organizations brand guidelines

  • Working knowledge of sales and marketing techniques of entertainment venues preferred
  • Possess a high level of poise and professional demeanor
  • Will adjust schedule as needed to meet work goals and time constraints, including working nights, weekends, and holidays as football schedule directs
  • May require work out of both the Ford Field Management Office and the Allen Park Training Facility
  • A valid Driver’s License and a safe driving record
