About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our dynamic People Operations team. The Intern will support the Payroll, Compensation & Benifit department in various administrative and operational tasks. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and insight within a vibrant and supportive environment.
What will you do
- Support the hiring and onboarding process for new employees by preparing and collecting orientation materials
- Maintain and update employee records and HRIS databases with accuracy and confidentiality
- Provide administrative support to the team, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly payroll for employees and benefit-related documents and reports.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the benefit policies and procedures.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent customer service
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior Payroll experience, and/or experience with any Payroll and HR systems, like Hi-Bob, is a plus but not required.
