Senior Event Associate / Event Manager - Contractor (fixed-term contract)

Our client, a leading multinational company in the professional services sector, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Event Associate / Event Manager to join their regional team in Costa Rica. The role requires managing and executing corporate events across Latin America, ensuring world-class delivery and alignment with global standards.

Position Objective
The primary objective of this role is to plan, coordinate, and execute corporate events from concept to completion, ensuring operational excellence, adherence to brand guidelines, and seamless experiences for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end event management, including planning, budgeting, logistics, and on-site execution.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all deliverables meet quality and compliance standards.
• Manage event timelines, supplier negotiations, and budget tracking.
• Oversee event branding, digital tools, and reporting metrics to evaluate success.
• Ensure all regional events align with the company’s strategic goals and brand identity.
• Provide post-event analysis and continuous improvement recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–7 years of proven experience in corporate event management, preferably within multinational or B2B environments.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Advanced budgeting and vendor management capabilities.
• Fully bilingual: English and Spanish (100%) – both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Detail-oriented, hands-on professional with the ability to deliver under pressure.
• Availability to travel up to 30% within the region.
• Must have a legal entity established in Costa Rica to provide contracted services.
