The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of our medium-density housing projects within Harnest’s Major Projects division. You’ll manage all stages of project delivery – from pre-construction and procurement through to completion – ensuring every build meets our standards for quality, safety, and social value.
This is a leadership position suited to someone who thrives on accountability, collaboration and technical complexity, and who takes pride in delivering outcomes that genuinely improve communities.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end delivery of medium-density residential projects across Victoria
• Oversee budgets, schedules and quality to ensure alignment with strategic and client objectives
• Manage AS-based head contracts and ensure sound commercial administration
• Build trusted relationships with government, client and consultant stakeholders
• Mentor project teams and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
• Support resource planning, risk management and performance reporting across multiple projects
About You
• 10+ years’ experience in project management within construction, ideally across medium to high density housing or commercial apartment builds
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field
• Strong understanding of AS-based contracts, building codes and regulatory requirements
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, leadership and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, committed to delivering meaningful outcomes
