About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Java developer to join our newly formed AI Innovation Team in Petach Tikvah. This is a hybrid, full-time position.

In this role, you will:

  • Integrate AI-driven features into our leading marketplace products.
  • Build and deliver Atlassian add-ons (for both Data Center and Cloud).
  • Provide professional development services (apps, automations, scripts) to customers in Israel and abroad.
  • Collaborate with international teams to shape the future of AI-enhanced solutions in the Atlassian ecosystem.

Requirements

Job Requirements (Must-Have)

  • Minimum 3 years of development experience in Java and JavaScript/TypeScript + React
  • AI development experience using tools such as Azure OpenAI and MCP Servers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • High-level English communication skills (spoken and written).
  • Team player with customer-facing and debugging experience (including presales support).

Nice-to-Have / Advantages

  • Familiarity with other ALM platforms (IBM Jazz, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, Jama, Polarion).
  • Ability to build Atlassian add-ons from scratch (both DC and Cloud).
  • Previous conference lecturing and blog post experience.
