Job Overview

  • Support the collection and analysis of data for sourcing and procurement projects.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of current and prospective vendors.
  • Assist in estimating costs and budgets under the supervision of the procurement team.
  • Follow up on cost reduction initiatives implemented by the procurement team.
  • Review quotes and pricing options provided by vendors.
  • Reconcile financial transactions related to minor purchases and PCard usage.
  • Assist in the preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP) documents by organizing data and materials.
  • Coordinate with Accounting and Finance departments to ensure accurate ledger entries.
  • Communicate basic procurement information to field operators as directed by the team.
  • Support tasks related to the distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies purchased with PCard.
  • Collaborate with procurement team members and managers on assigned tasks.
  • Perform other administrative duties related to procurement as assigned.
  • Assist in conducting market research to identify potential new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Help maintain and update the procurement database, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
  • Support the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
  • Assist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement efficiency and cost savings.
