The Sales Executive role is a client-facing outside sales role operating within an assigned industry. This involves identifying and managing client accounts and business opportunities for Eurofins Electrical and Electronic Testing.
This individual must be comfortable with cold calling and taking initiative to bring in new business as well as cultivate existing relationships. Knowledge and understanding of the Wireless and IoT Industry is ideal, specific knowledge of Network Operator requirements and Industry standards is required.
As part of the sales team, responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Maximizing market share, profitability, competitive advantage, and capacity utilization in the Wireless and IoT testing market.
- Establishing and maintaining productive relationships with Eurofins clients.
- Providing vision and acquiring new accounts to sustain growth of the business by representing Eurofins, clearly communicating Eurofins services to new customers and markets.
- Identifying opportunities and profitable work by following up on leads, negotiating, and closing.
- Providing a valuable interface between the customer and Eurofins by communicating the customer’s needs to the internal organization and fulfilling the role of customer advocate while teaming with a strong internal team from management, operations, technical staff, quoters, and project managers.
- Meeting individual revenue goals and sales targets.
- Establishing and maintaining productive relationships between clients and laboratories.
- Ensuring customer awareness of Eurofins Wireless and IoT testing, capabilities, and services.
- Providing sales forecasts for the assigned responsibility.
- Reviewing credit status of customers before bids or proposals.
- Monitoring accounts receivable and resolving collection issues.
- Developing strategies for pricing, bids, and master service agreements.
- Tracking and closing leads to increase revenue.
- Reporting sales activities and updating customer databases.
- Developing account plans with revenue goals and strategies.
- Identifying key markets and major accounts for growth.
- Negotiating and completing master service agreements.
- Collecting pricing information and evaluating customer requirements.
- Communicating customer needs to internal teams and facilitating successful project completion.
- Completing sales activity summaries and maintaining business opportunity records.
- Following up on bids and proposals to close sales.
- Negotiating pricing and contractual issues with GM approval.
- Presenting Eurofins as a network of laboratories to improve operational efficiencies.
- Controlling expenses related to sales activities.
- Supporting national accounts as needed.
- Providing market feedback for new product development.
- Maintaining relationships with network facilities.
- Providing sales forecasts for operational planning.
- Assisting with sales materials development and competitor intelligence gathering.
- Identifying opportunities for new products and services within the region.
