About the Role

You’ll join the Data organization to help build and operate core technologies that empower data scientists, analysts, and business teams to leverage data efficiently and drive impact. You'll be part of a new horizontal Data Platform team, owning key components and establishing standards for data governance, observability, and scalability.

Your work will span the design and implementation of internal tools, infrastructure, and processes to enable data-driven decision-making across Fever. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to understand challenges and deliver structured, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain a scalable and reliable data platform for company-wide use.
  • Implement and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, security, and consistency.
  • Develop observability frameworks (monitoring, alerting, logging) to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Automate and maintain infrastructure (data warehouses, pipelines, real-time systems) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Promote best practices across data engineering, governance, and platform operations.
  • Create internal tools and libraries to streamline development of data-driven applications.
  • Work closely with engineers and stakeholders to ensure data is accessible and well-structured within the platform.

About You

  • You are fluent in Spanish and English; you’ll communicate in Spanish with local teams and in English with global teams
  • You have a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • You are an expert in Python and frameworks like FastAPI or Django.
  • You have proven experience applying clean architecture principles (e.g., Hexagonal Architecture) to design scalable, testable, and maintainable data services and APIs.
  • You have worked with databases like Snowflake and PostgreSQL for data storage, retrieval, and management, ensuring efficient and accurate data handling.
  • You are familiar with IaC concepts, preferably with Terraform.
  • You have worked with scheduling and workflow orchestration tools, such as Airflow, to manage data pipelines and automate tasks.
  • You have experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes for deploying, scaling, and managing data platform components.
  • You are skilled in using GitOps tools such as ArgoCD.
  • You have experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines, automating testing, and deployment processes.
  • You are capable of building and maintaining real-time data pipelines with technologies such as Kafka.
  • You master observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, and Prometheus for monitoring and alerting on data platform performance and health.
  • You are proactive, driven, and bring positive energy to your work, thriving in dynamic settings.

It would be a plus if you...

  • Collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team, interacting with roles like data analysts, data scientists, marketing, and product managers to meet project goals and deliver actionable insights.
  • Use ClickHouse or TinyBird for real-time analytics.
  • Understand event-driven architectures and their  implementation in large-scale data systems.
  • Have experience with OpenSearch (or Elasticsearch) for log management, search, and analytics.
  • Use BI tools such as Metabase or Superset for data visualization and reporting to support decision-making processes.

About the interview Process

The interview process will be conducted in Spanish; however, some interviews will require English.

  • Take home test (3 days to complete)
  • Technical Interview
  • Manager Interview
