Job Overview

MezTal is seeking a proactive and strategic Talent Acquisition Sourcer to support recruiting efforts for our U.S.-based client, one of the largest food and facility services companies in the country.

This role requires hands-on experience sourcing both hourly and salaried professionals, including blue-collar and white-collar positions. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong cold-calling and direct sourcing skills, the ability to differentiate between sourcing and screening, and proven success in building talent pipelines for high-volume and professional roles alike.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively source and engage candidates for both hourly (e.g., cooks, janitors, housekeepers) and salaried roles (e.g., supervisors, HR assistants, operations managers) across U.S. locations.
  • Utilize cold-calling, social media outreach, Boolean searches, and database mining to identify top talent.
  • Conduct initial screening calls to validate interest, experience, and basic fit.
  • Partner closely with U.S. recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and prioritize sourcing strategies.
  • Build, maintain, and nurture strong candidate pipelines for current and future needs.
  • Meet or exceed weekly sourcing goals and KPIs while maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate data in the ATS.
  • Contribute to team discussions and continuously improve sourcing techniques and messaging strategies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience sourcing or recruiting for U.S.-based salaried and hourly roles.
  • Proven ability to differentiate between sourcing and screening, and to explain sourcing methodologies clearly.
  • Experience with cold-calling and proactive sourcing, not limited to applicants.
  • Familiarity with high-volume recruiting strategies and frontline candidate profiles.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume Search, and ATS platforms (Workday preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2+ or higher).
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and follow-up abilities.

  • Knowledge of social media data mining and creative engagement strategies.
