Associate Management Accountant

Fraport Greece is currently looking to cover the position of Associate Management Accountant in the Management Accounting Department. The ideal candidate will actively support financial planning, reporting, and performance analysis by leveraging data analytics, automation, and modern tools to deliver accurate insights and improve efficiency in decision-making.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Assist in preparing management reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Support financial planning, performance monitoring, and monthly closing activities, contributing to profit center and cost center reporting.
• Extract, analyze, and interpret large datasets from ERP systems (SAP) to generate business insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and models using Excel, Power BI, or other analytics tools.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripts or AI tools to improve efficiency.
• Support data collection, cleansing, and visualization activities across the department.
• Participate in financial analysis and strategic projects, in cooperation with the Line Manager and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in monthly closing activities and contribute to profit center/cost center reporting.
• Stay up to date on trends in data analytics and AI in finance, and proactively propose innovative solutions to improve processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• A previous professional experience of up to three years as a financial controller.
• Proficiency in MS Office with emphasis on Excel and preferably Power BI and SQL or other BI tools.
• A solid understanding of accounting and controlling principles.
• Fluency in Greek and English (oral and written at a professional corporate level).
• Fulfilled Military Obligations, if applicable.
