The Opportunity

IHS Towers is seeking a people-focused and strategic HR professional to join our team as HR Manager. The individual will support management of assigned function(s) and/ or region(s) to implement approved policies and processes which drive workforce optimization, engagement, and performance.

Serve as the single point of contact on all HR issues pertaining to assigned function(s).

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to enable functional leaders and line managers to navigate complex challenges and opportunities with implications for people.
  • Participate in the attraction, assessment, and selection of candidates for available roles within assigned function(s)/ region(s).
  • Engage continuously with functional leaders and teams to identify opportunities to leverage employees' knowledge, skills and abilities in driving execution of strategic initiatives and programs.
  • Contribute to the development and review of contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)for outsourced staffing partners.
  • Ensure all staffing activities within assigned function(s)/ region(s) are aligned with the company’s onboarding, performance management, reward, and payroll cycles.
  • Work with the HRD to develop, manage and update periodic workforce plans.
  • Build and provide relevant ad hoc and periodic reports to ensure that management has access to appropriate information regarding workforce performance, development, engagement, etc.
  • Contribute towards resolving and escalating complex employee relations issues.
  • Maintain and apply in-depth knowledge of relevant national employment laws and regulations to advise employees and line managers on effective compliance and business practices.
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
  • Drive implementation of people-focused programs, initiatives and plans across assigned function(s), e.g., performance management, employee engagement, total rewards, etc.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Director, HR
