Backend Engineer

Your job: The first major focus will be a greenfield build with a small team consisting of a PM and two other engineers. You will be building product(s) that help banks understand how they are performing, where there is opportunity to improve and enabling them to acquire new customers.

Must-Haves

• 2 years of experience in a professional environment.
• • Python or Ruby web frameworks (fastapi, rails, etc.).
  • Developing relational databases (SQL based).
  • Message queuing (sidekiq, rq, etc).
  • Caching (redis, etc).
  • Deploying directly to production cloud environments yourself (not through another team)
  • TDD or BDD approach (unit, integration, e2e tests, etc.)
• Low ego
• Collaborative

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in fintech
• Agile or Scrum Experience
