International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. is looking for qualified individuals to serve as the Quality Control Chief for The Navy Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP). The FFSP serves active duty members of the Navy, Marine Corps, Army, and Air Force plus their eligible family members; active duty members of foreign military services who are stationed in the area; reserve military personnel and their family members when they are eligible for military medical care, military members designated as severely wounded, ill and injured and their identified caretakers and, on a space available basis, military retirees and their family members and widows, eligible family members of military decedents and other groups as directed and authorized by higher authorities in response to special circumstances.
The Quality Control Chief is an essential role in the coordination, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives throughout the project. Under the direction of the International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. Head of Quality, the Quality Assurance Chief assists with the management of quality measures for the project, and compliance with regulatory, internal International Health and Medical Services, and any other programs deemed essential by project leadership. They work with the Program Leadership to improve customer engagement and works with the program leadership and staff to provide guidance and monitor workflow processes and assists with the development and implementation of strategies focused on quality improvement goals.
Key Responsibilities
- In conjunction with other senior leadership, facilitates activities related to quality and performance improvement programs in accordance with the requirements of International Health and Medical Services CQMP and the FFSP Contract.
- Responsible for the management and oversight of quality initiatives for the world-wide FFSP organization.
- Provides project leadership with training and development of quality competencies and ensuring these are completed annually.
- Responsible for planning and implementing general quality orientation and in-service education for all levels of FFSP personnel. Provide training and education to senior staff on quality improvements strategies and best practices that will filter down to all FFSP employees.
- Responsible for the reporting of quality data to FFSP and International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. leadership.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality improvement efforts and their outcomes.
- Participate in the development and review of program policies and procedures.
- Work closely with site leaderships to implement and monitor quality improvement plans.
