Job Overview

The Opportunity

As a Claims Processor, you’ll play a critical role in enforcing the fundamental fairness on which our company was founded. You’ll be supporting one of the largest teams within the company by allowing them to be highly efficient in their roles. Our goal is to leverage technology, data, and a team of highly talented people to build a claims experience that is recognized as number 1 in the industry. Salary Range:  
$44,000 - $50,000


How You Will Make an Impact

Responsibilities

  • Dispatch various claim assignments, including estimates, supplements, diminished value, fixed property, and specialty claims
  • Route claims to third-party vendors for in-person inspection(s)
  • Support the APD team with various projects and duties
  • Support Subrogation efforts, managing eSub, and creating FNOLs
  • Assist in setting up various parties in rentals
  • Communicate with adjusters for updates on the queues of task request(s) to drive claims to resolution
  • Assist in sending documents, managing vendor queues, and making contact with claim participants, providing claim information  
  • Complete all other tasks as assigned by the supervisor/manager


Qualifications/ Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in an office environment
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Communicates and collaborates effectively in a matrixed environment
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and quickly adapt when changes occur
  • Able and willing to follow company policies and procedures
  • Ability to approach problems with an open mind
  • Flexibility and comfortable handling multiple tasks at once
