Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced, hands-on Accounts Payable Assistant to join our finance team based in Farnborough, Hampshire.

This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative environment on a broad range of transactional finance responsibilities.

The position is initially offered on an 18 month fixed term employee contract basis, with the potential to make the position permanent in the medium to long term. Smart working (home/office) available (2 days from home/ 3 days in the office).

To be considered, applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK.

You must have previous Accounts Payable experience because we are unfortunately not able to provide training for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable:

  • Processing supplier invoices, including sending for approval via ELO

  • Entering approved invoices into SAP B1 / Mari

  • Processing Customer Invoices

  • Bank Reconciliations

  • Processing Expenses

  • Processing Payments on HSBC & SAP B1 and sending remittances

Credit Control:

  • Sending Statements
  • Calling customers for payment
