The Culture Events Coordinator will assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of internal and external events that celebrate and promote our company brand and culture. This part time role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management while helping foster an engaging, positive, and inclusive work environment. This role works collaboratively with the Marketing Department as well as Laura Canada’s Culture Committee.
- Event Planning & Coordination: Assists with organizing and managing events, including company-wide team building activities, cultural celebrations, employee recognition programs, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
- Vendor Management: Supports in sourcing and coordinating with external vendors, including venues, caterers, decorators, and entertainment, to ensure event success.
- Event Logistics: Helps oversee event logistics such as event setup, registration, attendee management, and ensures all details are executed flawlessly on event day.
- Budget Management: Assists with tracking event budgets and ensures that costs stay within allocated limits.
- Internal Communication: Collaborates with various teams to promote upcoming events and ensures all departments are informed and involved as needed.
- Post-Event Evaluation: Helps gather feedback from event participants and compiles reports on outcomes to assess success and opportunities.
- Employee Engagement: Participates in creating an engaging event experience that aligns with our company’s values and strengthens employee culture.
