Facilities And Maintenance Technician (Changi Airport)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the day-to-day facilities management for 19 retail shops in Changi Airport and associated office spaces, ensuring that high standards of maintenance, cleanliness, and security are upheld.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance for facility systems, including escalators, electrical, plumbing, and general stores' maintenance.
• Respond to facility-related emergencies and troubleshooting, working alongside contractors and vendors when necessary.
• Source and coordinate all maintenance and repair services performed by external contractors to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Ensure all maintenance activities meet regulatory and safety guidelines, conducting regular risk assessments and implementing control measures.
• Submissions of invoices for repairs and maintenance work related timely
• Facilitate the submission of maintenance purchase requests.
• Perform any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the management team.

Requirements

• NITEC or equivalent in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in facilities management or maintenance roles, preferably within retail or hospitality environments.
• Resourceful and thrive in fast pace environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Proficient in using computer software related to facilities management and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid FSM certificate is an advantage.
• Work location: Changi Airport with a 5-day work week, including some weekends and public holidays as necessary.
