Job Title: SX/EW Technician – Surface Copper Operations

Location: Site Based - La Sal, UT

Job Summary:

We are seeking an SX/EW Technician to support the operation of our SX/EW plant and tank house at our surface heap leach copper mine. This role involves monitoring process parameters, collecting samples, maintaining safety standards, and assisting in daily plant operations. The ideal candidate will be motivated to learn and apply knowledge of SX/EW procedures and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

· Plant Operation & Monitoring

· Monitor SX/EW plant parameters and make adjustments as needed.

· Conduct daily circuit audits and pond level checks.

· Facilitate off-loading of product trucks into holding tanks.

· Coordinate with shift supervisor to maintain proper operating procedures.

· Sampling & Data Management

· Collect composite and can samples throughout SX plant and ponds.

· Deliver samples to the lab and maintain detailed logbooks.

· Perform copper, acid, and nitrate assays as outlined in operator responsibilities.

· Enter operational data into computer systems.

· Safety & Compliance

· Participate in daily safety meetings and perform workplace safety inspections.

· Identify and report safety, production, and maintenance needs.

· Maintain a clean and safe work area and perform shift-end cleanups.

Required Skills & Experience:

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.

· Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.

· Good communication skills and ability to understand instructions.

· Motivated to learn SX/EW operations through training and mentoring.

· Basic computer and math skills.

Working Conditions:

· 7 days on, 7 days off schedule with 12-hour shifts or longer.
