Summary

The Regional Sales Manager, Product will advance Martin Bionics’ mission by nurturing existing business relationships as well as identifying new and emerging business opportunities, boosting our impact. The Regional Sales Manager, Product will also be responsible for helping manage the company’s relationships and position within the orthotics and prosthetics industry at large. Special focus will be placed on direct, in-person/in-clinic networking and the development of relational equity among third-party prosthetists nationwide.

Primary Duties

Market Research

  • Develop working knowledge of Martin Bionics' unique technology, including component parts, fitting techniques, and what constitutes quality patient outcomes.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor offerings and our competitive position (e.g., SWOT).
  • Identify market opportunities where our product offerings would advance our mission, both among third-party prosthetic clinics and referral sources.

Relationship Building

  • Identify, develop, and maintain positive relationships with key third-party prosthetic clinics, ensuring an ongoing awareness of our product and service offerings.
  • Provide in-person product training that will improve relationships with third-party prosthetic clinics and improve patient outcomes.
  • Address concerns and resolve pain points from third-party prosthetic clinics in a professional manner, using discretion to escalate issues to leadership when warranted.
  • Attend and network at tradeshows, conferences, and industry events that offer the opportunity to increase our reach and build fruitful relationships.
  • Coordinate and host meetings, in-services, lunch-and-learns, dinners, and events to educate, network, and deliver company information to current and potential industry partners.

Additional Duties

Record-Keeping & Reporting

  • Entering and properly managing information in the designated CRM for reporting and visibility.
  • Managing, storing, and disseminating company collateral.

Travel

  • Part-time travel involved (approximately 30%).
  • Attend industry conferences (3-6 per year).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM database structures; exposure to multiple CRM software platforms a plus.

Evaluation

  • Regular, informal one-on-one meetings with supervisor for bi-directional feedback
  • Formal performance review to take place annually
