The Compensation & Program Specialist is a key resource for the company’s salary and incentive programs and supports a variety of associate-focused programs. In addition to administering compensation, this role is integral to the success of recognition, cabinet purchase, tuition reimbursement, and scholarship programs.
Responsibilities:
- Administer base pay and incentive programs including annual merit review and short and long-term incentive cycles, including sales compensation programs.
- Continuously identify and implement improvement opportunities by using the lean tools, technology, and workflow optimization to drive operational excellence across all programs to deliver a positive, cohesive associate experience.
- Maintain compensation infrastructure and data integrity within the Workday system, including job profile creation, salary structure changes, etc.
- Complete regular data audits, root cause issues, and identify permanent countermeasures to prevent data issues.
- Conduct market review and analysis for compensation requests, review internal and external offer data for competitiveness and internal equity.
- Ensure program educational information is easy to understand and well-communicated throughout each phase of the associate life cycle.
- Administer and support employee recognition programs, ensuring timely and meaningful acknowledgment of associate contributions.
- Administer the cabinet purchase program including approvals, tax reporting, and communications.
- Manage tuition reimbursement requests, approvals, and payments in alignment with policy.
- Lead scholarship program administration, including system testing, application tracking, award processing, and communication with recipients.
- Track any special compensation commitments.
- Educate HR and associates regarding programs and procedures.
