Rust Developer

About the project

We are seeking a Rust Developer with 2–3 years of experience to initially support an ongoing project. The role will begin with support and maintenance tasks, such as bug fixes, performance tuning and small enhancements. After 6 months, based on project progress, the role will transition into active development, where you will work on new features and modules.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience with Rust programming.

• Solid understanding of ownership, borrowing, and lifetimes.

• Experience with async runtimes (Tokio/async-std).

• Familiarity with web frameworks (Actix, Axum, Warp) and Serde.

• Proficiency with Cargo, Git, and CI/CD workflows.

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Phase (First 6 Months):

  • Monitor and maintain existing Rust-based applications.

  • Fix bugs, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.

  • Provide technical support and implement minor enhancements.

  • Work closely with QA and support teams to resolve incidents.

  Development Phase (Post 6 Months – subject to project progress):

  • Design and implement new features in Rust.

  • Collaborate on system architecture and API design.

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

  • Contribute to code reviews, testing, and technical documentation.
