Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager who is passionate about building high-performing teams, delivering impactful solutions, and fostering a culture of innovation. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in startup-like environments, embraces SaaS and low-code/no-code platforms, and can influence stakeholders across business and technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership and Coaching: Lead and grow a team of engineers focused on delivering scalable, secure, and business-aligned solutions.  Mentor and coach engineers to develop and improve their performance.
  • Delivery Excellence: Drive execution of engineering projects with a focus on speed, quality, and customer impact.  Promote best practices with quality and timely delivery in mind.
  • Platform Strategy: Promote the use of SaaS, low-code/no-code platforms to accelerate delivery and reduce custom development.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with product, business, and technology stakeholders to align priorities and drive outcomes.  Lead estimation and feature prioritization, identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Technical Oversight: Partner with architects and principal engineers to ensure sound design and implementation practices.
  • Culture Building: Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive Agile Delivery: Lead engineering teams in applying Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) to plan, prioritize, and deliver high-quality software. Facilitate sprint ceremonies, ensure backlog health, remove delivery obstacles, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and transparency across cross-functional teams.

Bonus – Distributed/Contractor Team Leadership: Experience working with offshore, contracted, and diverse engineering teams, with the ability to coordinate across time zones and drive outcome-based delivery while ensuring smooth collaboration.
