Chief Operating Officer

About this Role

Reporting to the CEO and joining NEXTDC’s Executive Leadership team, the Chief Operating Officer will lead the operational performance, safety and reliability of NEXTDC’s data-centre portfolio across APAC, setting the global operating framework that underpins performance and scalability.

You’ll lead Data Centre Operations and the Global Operations function, driving consistency, automation and resilience across regions, while partnering with business leaders to ensure seamless performance enterprise-wide.

About You

• Proven senior leadership experience in purpose-built data-centre operations (essential)
• A record of improving availability, safety, reliability and cost-efficiency across multi-site, 24/7 environments
• Strategic agility - able to operate effectively today while building for future global growth
• Deep technical understanding of critical systems (mechanical, electrical, BMS, energy, fire & safety)
• Strong commercial acumen and executive-level credibility
• A leadership style that builds empowered, high-performing teams committed to operational excellence
