Manager, Planning, Logistics, & Operations

Job Overview

The Manager, Planning and Event Logistics will manage various tasks revolving around tent pole and in-house events, including but not limited to: hotel contracts, hotel reservations and group blocks, airline flights, ground transportation, and gathering pertinent information for credentials. Remote Events include regular season games, post season events, Pro Bowl, Super Bowl, Combine, Draft, Hall of Fame, as well as league meetings and pre-planning survey visits.  This position will work closely with the Travel Manager, Production Management, American Express travel, NFL employees, freelance employees, and vendors. 

This role plays a critical part in delivering seamless, premium-level logistics for talent and production teams at domestic and international activations—most notably including the NFL International Games, tentpole events like the Super Bowl, Draft, and Combine, and year-round live and studio content creation. 
 
This position sits at the intersection of live production, talent relations, event execution, and digital operations, and requires someone who thrives under pressure, has a white-glove mindset, and can anticipate the needs of high-profile talent and teams. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Compile credential zone information for all NFL Media 
  • Inputting zone information for each member of NFL Media staff/freelance staff attending each tent pole event 
  • Compile all necessary background information for new staff/freelance staff members 
  • Work closely with Production Management to understand access of credential zones 
  • Communicate with NFL Media team leaders regarding credential pick up information 
  • Manage advance and gameday credential distributions 
  • Assist in credentialing center once onsite at events 
  • Coordinate all logistics for on-air talent and content creators involved in live programming, studio shows, and digital activations. 
  • Partner with production, digital media, and comms teams to ensure talent is fully supported pre-, during-, and post-shoot or stream. 
  • Ensure alignment between travel schedules, content shoot times, green room access, glam services, and on-air requirements. 
  • Serve as the go-to logistics lead onsite for NFL Media during NFL International Games and other global activations, proactively resolving travel or access issues. 
  • Oversee on-the-ground logistics for on-air and digital talent, including green room set-up, transportation, catering, and escorting. 
  • Ensure a polished, VIP-caliber experience for all guests and personalities appearing on NFL related content and affiliated events. 
  • Be present at key events to manage live needs, run-of-show talent logistics, and work closely with production and studio staff. 
  • Support broader business operations related to talent and logistics  
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across content, production, digital, communications, and partnerships to align priorities and schedules. 
  • Participate in post-mortems and logistics reviews to drive efficiency and improve future experiences. 
  • Ability to manage sensitive information and have a high level of discretion 
  • Attend remote site visits to scout for hotels and filming locations as well as any other logistics pertaining to the event 
  • Ability to travel to Super Bowl, Combine, Draft, event site visits and any other remote event 
  • Liaise with Production Management and Legal to finalize hotel contracts 
  • Assist with tracking travel costs for Production Management 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Previous experience supporting NFL events, or other global sporting events. 
  • Background in travel coordination, hotel block management, or large-scale hospitality planning is a plus. 
  • Familiarity with international travel regulations, customs, and visa coordination. 
  • Experience supporting talent and tentpole logistics for large scale media organizations

Travel: 

  • Ability to travel to Super Bowl, Combine, Draft, Site Visits and any other event as needed 

Terms /Expected Hours of Work: 

  • 40 hours, plus overtime as needed when onsite at events 

Salary / Pay Range 

  • This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range. 
Salary
$100,000$130,000 USD
