About the Role
This is a full-cycle sales role focused on building relationships and closing new business within our mid-market segment. You’ll own the entire sales process—from prospecting to signed contracts—leveraging our best-in-class sales tech stack (Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, Apollo, Sales Navigator). Most of your sales activities will be remote, though you’ll also have opportunities to represent Opus at industry trade shows and events.


Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Ownership
    You’ll manage every stage of the deal without handoffs or dependencies: prospecting, outbound, qualifying, conducting discovery, delivering tailored demos, negotiating, and closing. While approximately 70% of closed-won deals come from our marketing-generated inbound pipeline, your outbound efforts will be equally crucial to achieving quota. This is a great fit for sellers who thrive on end-to-end ownership and accountability.

  • Mid-Market & Vertical Expansion
    You’ll be at the forefront of our dedicated push into consumer services—a high-growth vertical including fitness chains, wellness centers, beauty salons, and retail brands facing similar workforce challenges as our restaurant customers. You’ll help establish Opus as the category-defining solution in this space, with clear pathways for promotion to Senior AE and Enterprise roles as these verticals scale.

  • Account-Based Selling
    You’ll own a book of ~200 accounts and manage 20–25 active opportunities at any given time, taking a strategic, account-based approach to engagement. In consumer services, you’ll be building relationships with industry leaders who may be new to our platform—allowing you to have a direct impact on shaping Opus’ presence and credibility in a high-growth vertical.

  • Consultative Selling
    We sell solutions, not features. You’ll take a consultative approach to uncover economic drivers, understand industry-specific challenges, and creatively position Opus to meet each customer’s unique needs. Your strong discovery skills and ability to communicate value will be critical as you navigate new use cases, regulatory considerations, and buying constraints in an evolving vertical.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3–5 years of full-cycle B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS or technology solutions, targeting mid market and above organizations..

  • Proven track record of exceeding quota and managing a consistent book of mid-market accounts.

  • Experience with account-based selling and managing 20–25 active opportunities simultaneously.

  • Strong discovery and consultative selling skills, with the ability to position value and ROI to multiple decision-makers.

  • Familiarity with sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, Apollo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator (or similar platforms).

  • Comfort with outbound prospecting and developing new business within established and emerging verticals.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal).

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, comfortable with ambiguity and excited about building within new markets.

  • Team player mindset, with a willingness to share learnings and collaborate with peers to refine sales strategy and processes.

  • $150,000-$200,000 OTE (based on experience level)
