A dynamic church-focused website builder specializing in web management and design solutions is seeking a Marketing Assistant to help our clients increase visibility, optimize websites, and strengthen their online performance.
This role is ideal for someone with extensive SEO experience who can balance both the creative and technical aspects of digital marketing. You will be responsible for ensuring websites and campaigns are fully optimized, technically sound, and aligned with industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles (Google My Business) for local SEO impact.
- Conduct on-page optimization, including keyword integration into headlines, copy, and metadata.
- Write accurate and grammatically correct ad headlines and descriptions.
- Troubleshoot and improve website performance (e.g., page speed, error fixes, schema markup, event tracking).
- Ensure accounts and ads comply with platform requirements.
- Set up and manage Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics tracking.
- Create, analyze, and present SEO and Google Ads performance reports.
- Identify areas of improvement and test changes to enhance SEO and campaign performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven SEO experience (local SEO expertise required).
- Strong knowledge of Google Business Profile (Google My Business).
- Previous experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
- Strong command of written English for ad copy and content optimization.
- Basic knowledge of HTML for on-page SEO adjustments.
- Ability to create reports and set up conversion tracking in Google Analytics.
