THE OPPORTUNITY

Pointe Health is looking for a Consultant to join our growing firm. At Pointe, expectations for our Consultants are high but empowering. You will be part of a team with direct access to Pointe’s partners and key client decision-makers. Your ideas will be heard, and your thoughts valued as we help clients grow and drive strategic advantage. You will be a key contributor on client engagements and project deliverables. Quite simply, you will get the developmental benefits of big firm clients with the high touch of a boutique culture.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Consultants are integral to Pointe’s success as a firm. As a Consultant, you represent the engine of our Great People, Great Clients, and Great Work Mantra! You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing the data that will enable the delivery of Great Work to our exclusive list of Pointe Health (Great) Clients. More specifically, you will:

• Support development of global pharmaceutical/biotech KOL networks to conduct original research

• Conduct original primary research with clinical trial sites to better understand development timelines and to inform strategic decision

• Conduct secondary research and analysis of breaking press releases, news, publications, and industry events to support original insight into market dynamics

• Build differentiated research capabilities (e.g., quantitative/qualitative methods) and deepen functional expertise in oncology, immunology, neuroscience, and other therapeutic areas.

• Attend and support coverage of global industry conferences, earnings calls, investor conferences, and/or webinars

• Develop relationships with key client maps and add measurable value to our client relationships

• Mentor and develop junior team members

• Positively contribute to the dynamic, high-achieving atmosphere of the firm

ABOUT YOU

• BA or BS required with a clear track record of academic excellence

• Advanced degree (Masters or PhD in life sciences, biomedical sciences, biomedical engineering, or related areas of study) preferred

• Two to four years of relevant research, consulting, or similar experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, medical affairs, drug development, and drug commercialization

• An aptitude for networking, primary research, and secondary research

• Well-honed business acumen and analytical skills

• A desire to learn and demonstrated ability to master new subject areas quickly

• Strong communication, technical writing, and critical-thinking skills

• Strong work ethic, dedicated, organized, detail-oriented, and accountable

• Time management and multitasking abilities to succeed in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Advanced skill set in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel

• Foreign language capabilities are a plus
