Job Overview

Join a leading international hotel group managing one of Dubai’s most distinguished luxury hotel & residences complexes. The property combines hotel & residential living with the service culture of a global hospitality brand, supported by multiple dining touch-points and a cluster-led operating model. This role oversees the full culinary direction across the residences and associated properties, with a strong focus on pre-opening strategy, concept development, and building a high-performing team. The ideal candidate brings strategic leadership, global culinary expertise, and proven experience operating at the highest standards of international luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction for all culinary operations across cluster properties, ensuring consistency with brand standards and guest expectations.
  • Lead pre-opening planning, including kitchen design input, OS&E selection, and operational procedures.
  • Manage day-to-day operations across all venues, in-room dining, and special events, ensuring high-quality production and presentation.
  • Implement Forbes Travel Guide culinary and service standards through structured training, audits, and coaching.
  • Drive menu development, seasonal programming, and culinary innovation based on global luxury trends and the needs of long-stay guests.
  • Manage food cost, procurement, waste control, and productivity KPIs in partnership with Finance and Purchasing.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor a multicultural culinary team, fostering a performance-driven, guest-focused environment.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, UAE food safety regulations, and global brand safety requirements, alongside sustainability practices.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years’ senior culinary leadership experience, including experience as an Executive Chef in luxury hospitality.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification.
  • Experience in pre-opening, kitchen commissioning, and cluster-level operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Forbes Travel Guide standards and luxury residential service expectations.
  • Background with global luxury hospitality groups is preferred.
  • Expertise in global cuisines, menu engineering, and contemporary fine-dining trends.
  • Strong financial acumen, including food cost control and budgeting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team development capabilities.

Additional Information
