POSITION SUMMARY


The Paid Media Manager at Rocket Clicks is a hands-on, strategic role responsible for the end-to-end management of multi-channel paid media campaigns for our Family Law Firm clients. You'll lead the execution and optimization of campaigns, ensuring they consistently drive measurable ROI and high-quality leads. This role reports to the Director of Paid Media and is central to the success of our Paid Media team and our clients' growth.


As a key member of the Paid Media team, you’ll oversee daily performance within ad platforms, collaborate with Account Managers to align strategies with client goals, and contribute to the overall success of the Paid Media discipline. You will balance strategic thinking with tactical execution, leveraging Rocket Clicks’ First Principles methodology and proven playbooks to deliver best-in-class campaign performance.



Key Responsibilities & Objectives

  • Campaign Strategy & Execution
    • Develop and own strategic campaign roadmaps for each client, defining platform mix, targeting strategies, and a clear testing and optimization plan.
    • Execute and iterate on our proven industry-specific playbooks for Family Law, adapting them to individual client needs while upholding company best practices and First Principles.
    • Ideate, test, and evaluate experiments designed to improve client performance.
    • Proactively manage monthly ad spend for each client, ensuring budgets are not just spent but optimized to deliver maximum return on ad spend.
  • Performance Management & Reporting
    • Analyze campaign performance data for monthly and quarterly reporting.
    • Monitor KPIs and proactively identify opportunities for improvement or risk mitigation.
    • Serve as the quality assurance lead for conversion tracking, ensuring data integrity and fast issue resolution.
    • Audit internal and prospect accounts to validate strategy and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Partner with the Paid Media Director to translate client goals into actionable campaign plans.
    • Work with design and editing partners to ensure all creative assets are compelling, brand-aligned, and conversion-focused.
    • Delegate and document tasks within Agile sprint planning, ensuring efficiency and clarity for support team members.
    • Mentor junior specialists or supporting contributors, fostering development and knowledge sharing.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of team documentation, SOPs, and cross-functional communication.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Maintain accurate sprint planning documentation and delegate tasks effectively across team members.
    • Contribute to our internal operational efficiency by proactively identifying and implementing automation opportunities that streamline workflows, reporting, and campaign setup.

  • Campaign ROI / ROAS: Consistently meets or exceeds performance benchmarks.

  • Data Integrity: Conversion tracking and reporting remain accurate and reliable.
  • Operational Efficiency: Tasks are prioritized and executed effectively within sprint planning


What It Takes To Succeed In This Role


To thrive as a Paid Media Manager at Rocket Clicks, you’ll bring a strong mix of strategic thinking, platform expertise, and people leadership. The core competencies we’re looking for include:

  • Analytical & Data-Driven: Skilled at interpreting data to guide optimization and storytelling.
  • Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and programmatic platforms like StackAdapt or Simpli.fi.
  • Strategic Thinking: Able to connect campaign performance with client business outcomes.
  • Proactive & Accountable: Anticipates challenges, owns results, and continuously seeks improvement.
  • Clear Communication: Able to translate performance metrics into clear, actionable insights.


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in digital marketing; 3+ years specialized in paid media management.

Experience

  • Prior experience working within an agency or professional services environment.
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring contributors in an agency or team environment.
  • Demonstrated success managing monthly ad spend exceeding $100,000 across multiple accounts.
  • Technical excellence across all relevant paid media platforms/channels.
  • Experience supporting local lead generation-focused clients preferred, especially within competitive verticals like Family Law.
