Internal Communications Manager

We are seeking a creative and strategic internal communications professional to join RRD’s Corporate
Communications team. The ideal candidate is a thoughtful storyteller, a team player, and an advocate for
effective communications that strengthen organizations and positively impact the employee experience.
The Internal Communications Manager leads the development and execution of internal communications
strategies to deliver impactful messaging that reaches 30,000 employees across the organization. The
Manager plays a key role in engaging employees in ways that inspires action and creates connection to RRD’s
mission and goals.
The manager will collaborate across functions to align and support key business objectives and report to the
Vice President of Corporate Communications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute internal communication strategies that support company goals, values, and business objectives.
- Own and manage the internal communications calendar to ensure alignment and on-time delivery of all communications
- Write and edit compelling content for internal channels with clarity and consistency. Maintain authenticity in internal messaging, upholding the company’s voice, tone, and style.
- Manage RRD’s global employee communications platform, implementing strategic initiatives (e.g. contests, newsletters, awards) to create opportunities for engagement and increased adoption.
- Drive cross-functional communications with various stakeholders, collaborating with corporate departments, senior leaders, business units and other key personnel to promote high-value communications in support of departmental and Company strategic priorities.
- Strengthen organizational connection and engagement among hourly employees by partnering with plant and HR leaders to drive localized initiatives and improve accessibility in internal communications.
- Analyze performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of internal communications and leverage data to make recommendations for improvement
- Act as a trusted advisor by staying informed on internal communications best practices and industry trends
