We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kindergarten Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. This role involves using i-Ready digital curriculum including diagnostic assessments and personalized instruction in ELA and math. Plan and implement age appropriate lessons analyzing student data from i-Ready diagnostics and provide differentiated instruction based on individual learning needs. Monitor academic progress. Collaborate with families and staff to support student development maintain a positive and productive learning environment. While supporting the diverse needs of all students.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards.
- Plan and conduct daily lessons.
- Manage classroom activities to create a positive learning environment.
- Utilize learning technology to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Mentor and guide students in their personal and academic growth.
- Conduct assessments and standardized testing to monitor student progress.
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and administration to support student development.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior management strategies.
- Foster a love for reading through library services and literacy programs.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
- Must have prior teaching experience in Western and Eastern Armenian languages.
- Must be qualified to teach in Spanish and English languages.
- Must be able to use i-Ready digital curriculum in teaching.
- Two years experience in any teaching position.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create an inclusive atmosphere for all learners.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating independent initiative.
- Commitment to fostering a safe and supportive environment for all students.
