How will you contribute to Skroutz and team’s vision and mission

As a Marketplace Operations Controller, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that all network components (Merchants, Couriers, Partners) consistently meet performance standards, identifying underperformance, and driving issue resolution to maintain a frictionless post-order experience.

What you will be doing

• Monitor the performance of couriers, merchants, and other partners to identify and address delays, fulfilment issues, and recurring failures.
• Drive communication effectiveness and escalate underperformance across the network - including couriers and merchants - by addressing long shipment delays, return pickup failures, hub inefficiencies, high pickup failure rates, and low fulfilment quality. 
• Apply and optimize control settings (e.g., delay rules, auto-rejects, caps) to stabilize the network and maintain service quality
• Oversee system health and operational stability by validating shipping states, tracking system errors, resolving failures, and proactively managing disruptions such as overloaded shops or courier outages
• Investigate and resolve delivery issues - including false deliveries, cancelled order fulfilment, lost or damaged shipments, and repeated delivery failures—while ensuring timely resolutions and clear communication across all touchpoints

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail with a bias for action
• Able to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines
• Proactive in identifying risks and solving operational problems
• Comfortable working with data (Excel/Google sheets) and reporting system tools to monitor performance and flag discrepancies
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate across internal teams and external partners
• Resourceful, curious, and comfortable navigating ambiguity
