The Multi-Unit Retail Food Service Manager oversees the daily operations and strategic direction of multiple retail and concession outlets within the healthcare site. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, and team leadership while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. The manager collaborates closely with culinary and operations teams to develop innovative retail programs, implement quality and safety standards, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and growth.

As a Multi-Unit Retail Food Service Manager, you will:

  • Coordinate and direct all retail and concession operations for the site.
  • Oversee daily operations, including collaboration with the Executive Chef on menus and promotions, purchasing and ordering, inventory, and scheduling.
  • Manage financial performance for the retail program, including labour and food costs, inventory, equipment, and materials.
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate supervisors to ensure productivity, engagement, and effective use of team member capabilities.
  • Achieve annual retail objectives and key performance targets.
  • Maintain operational standards and lead continuous quality improvements.
  • Support the marketing and promotion of the retail program.
  • Conduct regular analysis of retail performance, identifying efficiencies and opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all Company and Client standards as well as Provincial/Federal legislation.
  • Uphold all Food Safety and Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures.
