Role Overview:

The VP of Commercial will be a strategic executive leader responsible for defining and executing the company’s overall commercial strategy. This role focuses on market expansion, partnerships, business development, and cross-functional alignment to drive sustainable long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement commercial strategy aligned with the company’s vision and business goals.
  • Drive global market expansion, including market entry strategies and ecosystem development.
  • Partner with executive leadership to set revenue goals, assess risks, and shape growth initiatives.
  • Build and manage relationships with key partners, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and oversee strategic partnerships, alliances, and contracts.
  • Act as a spokesperson for the company to enhance brand positioning and credibility.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with commercial strategy.
  • Partner with product/tech to translate market insights into product direction.
  • Work with operations to ensure seamless service delivery and customer experience.
  • Lead the business development and partnerships teams.
  • Foster a results-oriented, entrepreneurial culture with strong accountability.
  • Build and nurture high-potential talent for future leadership roles.

Requirements

  • Experience in a senior commercial or business leadership role (e.g., VP Commercial, VP Business Development).
  • Strong background in go-to-market strategies, partnerships, and international market expansion.
  • Expertise in building ecosystems and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
