Job Overview

We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Audit and Assurance team in Cambridge, which is responsible for managing the audit process for a portfolio of clients, including managing the relationship between the client and the engagement team. Your focus is on engagement management and supervising others to deliver excellent client service and a high-quality audit. If required, you will also assist with management of the team, department and potentially the wider firm. As a growing office, there will also be the opportunity to not only help with growing and shaping the team but also to be involved in proposals and business development.

As Audit Senior Manager, your responsibilities will include among others

  • Managing a challenging client portfolio ‐ ensuring that clients receive an efficient and proactive service and client expectations are exceeded throughout the year. 
  • Audit work and setting budgets ‐ act as audit lead for broad mix of clients.
  • Commercial awareness of all aspects of clients' businesses and the impacts on our work.
  • Business /Practice Development ‐ preparation and review of proposals for new work, attendance at marketing events, development of personal contacts and identification and pro‐active development of opportunities with current clients.
  • Training and development ‐ ensuring assessment forms completed and feedback given to staff on all jobs.
